This might be the most important experience of the whole semester!
Implement an update to your professional portfolio site to integrate the projects and experiences from this class. Be sure to:
Conform to the professional portfolio guidelines.
Include a project page for your Digits application. The portfolio project page should show a screen dump, discuss the technologies used in the development of the application, what you learned from it, a link to the deployed app, and a link to the GitHub page associated with Digits.
Include a project page for your TextBookExchange application. Similarly to Digits, the portfolio project page should show a screen dump, discuss the technologies used in the development of the application, what you learned from it, a link to the deployed app, and a link to the GitHub page associated with Digits. In addition, this page should discuss what you learned about working in a team. You might want to include a screen image of your HuBoard so that readers get a sense for your project management capabilities.
Make sure that all other pages in your portfolio are up to date.
Write a final technical essay summarizing what you have learned from the Textbook Exchange project about working in teams, and what you have learned about software engineering from this semester. What is your advice to others about learning software engineering? Is it a useful skill? How would you like to improve as a software engineer in the future? What tools and technologies (Meteor, Slack, GitHub, etc.) did you find to be particularly interesting and useful, and for what reasons?
By the date and time listed in the Schedule page, send me an email with the subject line “[ICS 314: Final Portfolio]”. The body of the email should be a link to your professional portfolio.
