In the last module, you reviewed the specification for Material Design and several implementations. In this module, you will begin to dig in to the central question: what would an interface to RadGrad look like if it was implemented using Material Design principles?
To prime the pump, for this experience please go out on the web and look at various examples of Material Design. The Readings provides copies of links from the last module to “showcases” of Material Design; feel free to look beyond these links for examples.
Your goal is to come up with at least 12 screenshots of user interface pages or components of pages using Material Design principles that appear relevant to the following RadGrad pages:
The landing page, which should display public data about the RadGrad system, its user population, and current state.
The user’s home page, which should display personal information about that user and their status in the ICS/CE undergraduate degree program;
The degree planner page, which provides a way for a student to chart their course through the program;
The profile page, which enables a student to provide information about themselves and customize the system to their liking.
Take care to make sure the screen shots have a consistent size so that when you display them in your technical essay, the resulting essay looks clean and polished.
